In 2008 two of the dogs that made a huge contribution to our breeding program have died. We lost Cruiser at 12 and one-half years of age in August and Gainsborough at a little over 14 in December.
While they can never be replaced in our hearts, we take some comfort in knowing that they live on in their offspring. And that we were wise enough to realize their attributes when they were young and to have colleceted semen on both dogs at that time.
